New Models in Work-based Learning

 Hankkeen 2. kokous Saksassa Bonnissa

11-12.5.2016

Hankkeen tavoitteena on kehittää ammatilliseen koulutukseen soveltuvat työssäoppimisen mallit kolmen partnerimaan esimerkeiksi ( Slovenia, Bulgaria ja Latvia). Suomi ja Saksa toimivat hankkeessa eräänlaisina benchmarking- ja perehtymiskohteina.
Hankkeen Kick off kokous pidettiin joulukuussa 2015 Raumalla WinNovan isännöimänä ja samalla toteutettiin WinNovan Info-day, jossa jaettiin meidän WinNovan ja alueen yritysten  kokemuksia työssäoppimiseen liittyen.
Tämä toinen kokous pidettiin siis Bonnissa, jossa isäntänä toimi BIBB ja ohjelmaan sisältyi heidän Info-day-osuutensa.
Ohessa muutama kuva vierailukohteista, joita tehtiin mm. autokorjaamoihin, joissa on sovellettu saksalaista duaali- oppimisen järjestelmää.

WinNovaa edusti kokouksessa Ville Rajala. ( Liisan matka peruuntui viime hetkellä sairastumisen johdosta, joka nosti hieman Villen sykettä! )

Impressions of the participants:

“Both of visits (MB-garage and School) was necessary to increase knowledge. Both of the parties act like as an independent unit, but it was nice to find out that plans was implemented precisely – seem that there was no big holes. Responsibilities was clearly divided.“

“The Info day was a good learning and inspiring experience.  Our VET system can benefit a lot from German VET model. We were impressed with motivation and purposefulness the young apprentices talked about their chosen profession and future career. It is obvious that involvement of stakeholders, in particular the chambers, is crucial in ensuring quality of apprenticeships and relevance to labour market needs. Social and interpersonal skills are considered as important as professional skills and they are integrated in teaching learning process. Apprentice’s diary is not just as a tool for controlling attendance; it also assists students in learning process by helping to revise what has been learned and what needs to be improved.”

“The visit of Mercedes workshop and VET school was very interesting and educational for me. It was interesting to see how this cooperation between company, chamber and school works in practice. Also it was very nice to see a girl/woman working as an apprentice in car mechanic workshop. ”

“In our country we consider VET as applicable only for industry occupations, so it was very interesting to learn about the occupations in the service / commercial sector during the opening of our Info Day. The informal atmosphere was just right to talk with the apprentices about their personal career choices, further plans and experiences during their apprenticeship time. VET in Germany is not a one-way road, I was impressed about the career choices possible within and after VET:”"Visit to Mercedes workshop, to  VET school, as well as detailed presentation on how training regulations are developed in Germany was very useful. I was impressed by committment of VET school to cooperate with companies and to ensure employability of graduates, including  by offering further training based on market research. The visit was a good reminder of the success factors for VET system - strong employer involvement and shared responsibility for educating labour force for the labour market."


 
Hanke jatkuu seuraavaksi Staff Exchange- toimenpiteellä, jolloin 6 kolmen partnerimaan edustajaa vierailevat Suomessa ja Saksassa perehtyen tarkemmin  työpaikalla tapahtuvan oppimisen käytäntöihin elokuussa 2016. Suomeen tuleva ryhmä saapuu 23-24.8. 2016 Poriin.
